Mid-Atlantic Fleadh this Weekend (May 18-20)!

How It’s New York: This is the Mid Atlantic Region Fleadh, and people come from all over the tri-state to compete, play and enjoy!

How It’s Irish: The fleadh is a program of Comhalta Celtóirí Éireann, and winners are eligible to compete in All-Ireland.

There are some new programs this year, including an Irish Language competition, and a under 10 event called “Tir Na Nog.”

If you don’t compete, you can also just come along to play in the seisiuns and ceili!  The teachers are there with thier kids and lots of great players from the area so it’s a fab place to meet everyone on the scene.
 The schedule is below.

On the CCE page there are really helpful links– not just the schedule and registration forms, but also lists of music teachers, frequently asked questions and much more!
