How it’s New York: Terence Mulligan’s “The Craic Festival,” presenting three days of Irish film and music, Liam+Neeson+Premiere+Open+Road+Grey+Arrivals+Zz4AzCMaaP-l-215x300is a  New York tradition since 1999.
How it’s Irish: Films and performers come from Ireland, and the U.S. premiere of “Tee to Green,” starring Aidan Quinn, is co-sponsored by Tourism Ireland.

Thor? What Thor?

The Craic Festival starts tonight, and the opening gala is not cancelled! If you haven’t been to the Craic, getting out of the storm and into the Tribeca Cinemas or Mercury Lounge may be just what the doctor ordered. Liam Neeson, my boyfriend (girl can dream) will appear for a Q-and-A after the U.S. premiere of “Road,” about the Dunlop racing dynasty in Ireland. Neeson narrates the film.

The events start on Thursday, March 5, and run through Saturday, March 7. There’s also a Kids Fleadh, moving to Tribeca Cinemas, 54 Varick St., on Saturday, March 7, from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with family-friendly short films.

Produced and directed by Michael Hewitt and Dermot Lavery, of DoubleBand Films.

“Road” is a documentary about the Dunlop family, united by success and tragedy.

Q-and-A will follow with Neeson.
