We have a spanking brand new twitter feed, with a lime green logo I designed last night (on microsoft word! with snapz, and preview). I am feeling so smart now, and ALSO smart, because @IrishArtsCenter tweeted this morning, what was the language of the Book of Kells– I tweeted Latin and they said ding ding ding! You’re right!
(well, monks wrote in Latin). More to the point, Irish Arts Center is doing the first ever IRISH BOOK GIVEAWAY today, all over New York, on St. Patrick’s Day! You know, not everyone wants to drink, especially not green beer. Lots of people USED to drink and can’t anymore. Lots of us can’t drink that much even when we wish we could… Spend the day with Colum McCann, or Edna O’Brien, Flann O’Brien, Frank McCourt, Joseph O’Connor (Michelle reviews his book next week), Maeve Binchy, Malacy McCourt, Oscar Wilde, Pete Hamill instead!
