Invitation To Record For New Traditional Irish Music Piano Accordion CDSolo and accompanied performances of Traditional Piano Accordion musicaccepted. Non profit making CD to include performances from seasonedtraditional music performers.
We want smell of the bog rather than pure competition music that will depict individual styles and personal/ regional influences.
Each artist will be responsible for theproduction of their own recording and must submit finished recordingfor audition and CD production to F M Recording Studios, Railway Road,Belturbet, Co. Cavan ASAP. Closing date for recordings will be May 31,2012.
Volume 1 will be launched at All Ireland Fleadh 2012 in Cavan.All artistes must be over 25 years of age. Each recorded artiste willreceive 20 free CD’s . This recording will be property of and releasedunder auspices of Cavan Fleadh 2012 committee.Copyright rules must be observed and composer’s permission sought.Sendthis info to anyone you think should be recorded.
