Regarded as Ireland’s finest folk ballad group, The High Kings are Finbarr Clancy (son of Bobby Clancy, The Clancy Brothers), Brian Dunphy (Three Irish Tenors, Broadway’s ‘Riverdance’), Darren Holden (lead roles on Broadway in Billy Joel’s ‘Movin’ Out’ and ‘Riverdance’) and newest member, multi-instrumentalist from Laois, Ireland Paul O’Brien. With a global and multi-generational appeal, The High Kings are equal parts rousing and reflective, energetic and insightful. Formed in 2007, they play 13 instruments between the four members, and have released four studio albums, two live albums and two DVDs. In 2017 they released a compilation album ‘Decade’ which celebrated 10 years together and also included 5 brand new recordings.
