This is in celebration of Tartan Day, a day to commemorate Scotland's Contribution to America, and the world....The actual day of Tartan Day is April 6th, the day in 1320 that all the Nobles and Clergy in Scotland signed the Declaration of Arbroath, which was sent to Rome to point out that only they had the power to choose their King, not Rome or England....The American Declaration of Independence is modeled on it, and we owe a lot to them for that....We marched in the parade in New York City today with the Kearny Scots-American Club, and it was a lot of fun! See you tomorrow at the Argyle!
