“Python” by Brendan Connellan – presented by Poor Mouth Theatre Company

Poor Mouth are delighted to present Poor Mouth Theatre Company’s world premiere of Dublin playwright Brendan Connellan’s “Python”, as part of this year’s 1st Irish Theatre Festival. “Python” is a dark comedy thriller set in modern day Ireland about a college professor who gets mixed up with high level drug dealers with surprising results. Poor Mouth, who won the audience award for best play in 2010 for “Guy Walks Into a Bar”, are excited to be bringing the 1^st Irish Theatre Festival to the Bronx for the first time! “Python” features five top notch Irish-born actors based here in New York: Paul Nugent, Mark Byrne, David O’Hara, Laurence Lowry, and Conor McManus.
