Kicking off it’s tenth year, PROJECT SHAW has been the core series of Gingold Theatrical Group. Coined as “New York’s monthly guide to reason,” PROJECT SHAW presents monthly Monday night readings of the works of George Bernard Shaw. Each Shaw play is presented in a concert-reading format at New York City’s literary center, Symphony Space.
HOW HE LIED TO HER HUSBAND – Shaw’s wicked parody of his own play, the classic CANDIDA. The fashionable Aurora Bompas (Tyne Daly) has allowed the young poet (Tony Yazbeck) to write poems to her, without anticipating that her boxing fanatic husband (Richard Easton) might find them. Which he does.
