As part of the 1st Annual New York Trad Fest, Mick Moloney will moderate a panel discussion on “Masters of Irish Traditional Music and Dance in New York in the 20th century” with Jerry O’Sullivan, Brian Holleran, Siobhan Butler and Tony De Marco.
About the 1st Annual New York Trad Fest:
On Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 2013, we will feature local masters of traditional Irish, bluegrass and “old-timey” American music. With the Saturday concert at Connolly’s Klub 45, and events at other Manhattan venues, the New York Tradfest will include concerts, informal music sessions and singers circles, and a special “Masters of Trad” presentation on traditional music heroes in New York City. More info is available at newyorktradfest.org.
