The Troy University Trojans football team is scheduled to start its season against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. CT.
Troy’s season opener scheduled for Sept. 5 against Louisiana Monroe was postponed until December following a COVID-19 outbreak within the ULM program. Last season, Troy went 4-7 overall and 3-5 in the Sun Belt Conference.
This is MTSU’s second game of the season. The Blue Raiders lost 42-0 against Army on Sept. 5. Last season, they went 4-8 overall and 3-5 in Conference USA.
The two teams last met in 2012.
