Robert Burns, the bard of Scotland, is celebrated worldwide on January 25th which in NYC qualifies as the dead of winter. This year we’re trying something new, and pulling out some of the wonderful lively summer birds and bees poetry of Burns as we celebrate a Midsummer Burns Night. Music from Glenfiddich Champion fiddler, Calum Pasqua and Young Wolfetone, Andrew Sharp with piping by JR Strauss and the Iona Session band. Poems selected by Professor Thomas Keith, Burns scholar of repute, super whisky tastes and drink toasts from our friends at Laphroaig, Belhaven Scottish Ales and Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Summer haggis awaits you!
