Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat FREE LIVE STREAM (9/30/20): How to watch NBA finals, time, channel
Los Angeles has survived to live another day.
The Lakers looked sluggish coming out of the gates of Game 1, scoring just 18 points in the first quarter and only outscored Miami by a single point in the second, but Los Angeles turned on the jets in the second half.
Los Angeles scored 41 points in the third quarter and 29 more in the fourth to come away with a 121-108 win against the Heat to bring the series to just a 3-2 Miami advantage.

A 3-1 lead might feel like the most dangerous lead in basketball at this point.
The Golden State Warriors infamously blew that lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals. The Utah Jazz blew a 3-1 lead to the Denver Nuggets in this year’s postseason, and then the Los Angeles Clippers did the same thing.
But there’s no doubt that Miami remains in the driver’s seat. The Heat have been forcing turnovers left and right and, for the most part, have continued to show little problems scoring against Los Angeles. One thing’s for certain, however, they’re likely hoping to avoid reaching that Game 1 and just end the series on Sunday.
