Irish Arts Center Winter Solstice Celebration – Tonight At Symphony Space

Join holiday hosts Mick Moloney and Athena Tergis as they bring together The Green Fields of America, Zenen Zerefino, Victor Murillo, mezzo-soprano Guadalupe Peraza, and members of Radio Jarocho for a joyful collaboration.

There will be jigs, music and much as the country’s best-known Irish American groups perform alongside the music and dance from the spirited son jarocho tradition of Veracruz, Mexico–fusing Spanish, baroque, indigenous, and African rhythms. It’s a culturally rich holiday concert the entire family will love.
