Fiddler of Dooney runoff competition

The folks from Sligo Live have asked Tony DeMarco to host the first ever Fiddler of Dooney Competition here in New York. There will also be one in Boston. Brian Conway has agreed to help out with this. Not all the details have been worked out but first prize in the over 16 category is a free trip to Ireland. CCE is contributing mightily to the cause thanks to Tom Vesey. Save the date and come to compete or just to listen to some great music. Entry fee is $20 and we will do a 50/50 to help defray costs. Just show-up. It may not go till 6 and will close when the last competitor has competed. We are doing three pieces and one of them is an air.
