Brass Phantoms NYC Debut Gig- October 5th, 2017- The Bowery Electric
Brass Phantoms are a new indie rock/post-punk outfit from Dublin, Ireland. Over the past couple of years, Brass Phantoms have developed a powerful and eclectic sound that they can call their own, which has enabled the group to build up a strong following in Ireland. Now, looking to grow this following abroad, the group are embarking on their first trip to New York City to perform at Mondo NYC (October 5th), and following this will be heading off on their first tour of the UK.
Earlier in 2017, Brass Phantoms released their single Waiting Up, which has seen the band rise to previously untraversed heights. The track garnered widespread radio play across Irish radio, and attained airplay on BBC Radio 6, as well as being featured on Spotify Discover Weekly.
No strangers to the live scene, Brass Phantoms have headlined shows throughout Ireland. The four-piece has been part of major festivals, including Other Voices and Indiependence Festival. The band is actively acquiring a well-renowned reputation for their raw energy and tightly-knit performances onstage.
Brass Phantoms have had their music widely featured across blogs from all around the world. In July 2017, the Metro listed the group as ‘Artist of the Week’, which is just one of a distinguishable variety of press accolades achieved by the band and their music, including features among the likes of Hot Press Magazine, IndieMono, A Music Blog Yea?, Joe.ie, The Irish Times, and many more.
The Dublin-based group has just released their latest track City Of Wolves which is helping Ryan, Greg, Adam and James to get their music heard by more and more people. The band’s next single, Indigo, is set for a September release date, which promises exciting times ahead for Brass Phantoms, and most certainly means we should to see a lot more from them in the future.
