Cillian Vallely (pronounced KILL-ian VAL-uh-lee) is a member of a renowned County Armagh music family and an undisputed virtuoso of the uilleann pipes. His parents Brian and Eithne Vallely founded the Armagh Pipers Club and helped lead the revival of traditional music in Ireland’s north. Cillian took up his father’s instrument, the world’s most sophisticated form of bagpipe, and now tours the world with the acclaimed traditional music group Lúnasa.
